  Research Notes:

source: & Betty Deverell who notes:
I am interested in Elsie Hope Aberdein (Sier/s) who married Lewis Domenichetti, for family history puposes.
I am a grand niece of her first husband, Arthur Siers.

Betty Deverell later notes:
My mother's uncle was Arthur Sier, who married Elsie Hope Aberdein in 1926. They only had the one daughter, also called Elsie Hope. Arthur & Elsie divorced about 10 years after their marriage and both parties remarried. The family lost contact after this and had no idea what happened to both Elsies (Arthur died in 1964) He was supposedly driving a train when he had a heart attack, we couldn't confirm this fact - I do have his death certificate which states he died between two railway sidings so the story could be true.

I found the younger Elsie married a Colin Frederick Everson in 1958, I then found the family on Ancestry where a number of people had Colin's wife as Donna! Donna? Where did she come from.

To cut a long story short I then got Colin's Death Certificate when he died in 1974- Elsie still listed as his wife and they had 3 children. Elsie and the eldest child were both on Electoral Rolls at the address where Colin and Elsie had lived for some time before his death.
Via Ryerson I found a Death Notice which had been published in the S.M.H. stating he had left his loving wife, Donna, plus the children and son-in-law of Elsie Snr. and her husband.

Why she was known as Donna I don't know - I have been in touch with another family member and she is as confused as I am, but we are convinced Elsie and Donna are the same person. The only conclusion was that she was known as Donna to distinguish herself from her mother. Elsie Snr. is also very confusing - she remarried to a fellow who anglicized his name which makes things confusing as the marriage is registered as one name and the death is registered as another.
