source: & Helen Seares who notes: By the way, she was Arthur Herrington Curnick's first wife. He married Mary Anne Ecclestone in New Zealand after Honoria's death. Mary Anne must have been a saint, because by the time she married Arthur he had about nine children. Some remained in New Zealand and some, including George Arthur Curnick, returned to Australia. Arthur Herrington Curnick went to Western Australia with some of his children and died there. The Curnick women who remained in New Zealand may have voted in the 1893 or 1894 election, which was the first in the world where women were enfranchised. Did you know that George Curnick and one of his sons were at the Eureka Stockade? Arthur Herrington Curnick was a blacksmith's boy at the blacksmith's shop that forged the pikes for the stockade.
