source:Keith Shrimpton who has that Charles parents were Rev David Palmer and Mary Ann Matilda Thrower but they already have a Charles John Palmer (1857) attached to them on my tree who is married to another wife with children born at the same time so one of these connections is obviously not correct.

Charles married Sophia Ann Gosper, daughter of William Henry (the first) Gosper and Catherine (Kitty) Blundell, on 16 Jun 1879 in St Peters, Richmond, NSW Australia. (Sophia Ann Gosper was born on 12 Jun 1860 in Upper Colo, NSW Australia and died in 1939.)
