Friend Budgen

  General Notes:

The 1881 British Census has Friend as a 25 y.o. unmarried mason's labourer boarding with George Edwards, a butcher, and family at shop Chislehurst, Kent with two other boarders, a bricklayer and a grocer. We cannot find him in the 1901 census.

Friend married Alice Amelia Harland, daughter of William Alfred Harland and Isabella Wood, on 1 Mar 1896 in Frant, East Sussex England. (Alice Amelia Harland was born in 1868 in Bloomsbury, London, Middlesex England and died about 1924 in Chislehurst, Kent England.)
