Amelia Budgen

Through www.sussexrecordsociety.org Poor Law Database we found a Bastardry order/bond dated 18 Oct 1805 against an Amelia Budgen, single woman, having given birth to a female on 18 July 1805 at the house of her mother West Hoathly. The putative father was Lewellyn Thomas Lt. Sergeant in the Monmouth and Brecon Regiment of Militia.

• Baptism, 11 Nov 1788, St Peters, Ardingly, Sussex England.

Amelia married James Weller. (James Weller was born about 1785 in East Preston, Brighton, West Sussex England.)
