William married Caroline Brown, daughter of Rev Thomas Brown and Sarah Turk, on 6 May 1863 in Yass, NSW Australia. (Caroline Brown was born on 23 Jul 1845 in Stoney Ridge, NSW Australia, christened on 30 Jul 1845 in Stoney Ridge, NSW Australia and died on 16 Aug 1908 in Goulburn, NSW Australia.)
